Sandaalid / Baby sandals

Oh, kuidas mulle meeldib neid pisikesi asju meisterdada :) Nii kui viimased niidid peidetud said, oli loomulikult vaja ka paar kiireloomulist fotot teha. Peab tunnistama, et kella kümne ajal tehtud klõpside kohta olen tulemusega üllatavalt rahul :D

Ka oma kudusoone suutsin vahepeal üles leida. Suure harutamise vahele oligi vaja vähe vaimu tuulutada ja kätt puhata. Ja no mis ometi paremini sobiks kui mõned tibatillukesed aksessuaarid. Võib uinuda taas naeratus näol, rahul päeva tulemiga!

 

 

I can´t tell you, just how much I love making these little items. It really feels like summer :) And ofcorse i could not wait til morning to take some photos...Just love the summer! At 10PM in this lighting, it is still possible to take pretty good photos.

 

And I found my knitting-enthusiasm! To keep it up, it was a great way to rest my arm and mind with these precios little items. Tonight I will fall asleep once again, with a big smile on my face :)

 

Ilmale kohaselt / To go with the weather

No nüüd on ju puhta suvi käes! Ei hakka üldse ilmateadet uskuma, vaatan paren hommikul aknast välja ja vaatan siis, mis järgnevad päevad toovad.
Käsitööga olen aga kahevahel...Kududa ei suuda ja heegeldada ei viitsi (olengi vahepeal liiga produktiivne olnud. Peab vist oma vardahunniku otsas vähe mediteerima, saab ehk kuduhimu tagasi.

Aga!!! Tagasi tulles siis ilmakohasemate tegevuste juurde!
Päris kudumata siiski ei ole! Katsetasin ka esmakordselt seda nn I-cord´i kudumist. Kasutusse puuvillase lõnga jäänukid, helmekastist kinnitus külge ja voilà!

 

 

So, now it is officially summer! Temperatures are about 30 degrees Celcius and there is not much to breathe. I won`t even read the forecast, instead will put my head out the window in the morning, and that is the best forecast for me!

However, with my crafting I am inbetween. It seems too hard to start knitting something big and warm, at this point, and with the crochet....just can´t be bothered. I will blame it all on the weather (as my birthday is in december, I prefer a bit cooler weather). I guess, I have to sit on my knittingneedles and meditate a bit. Maybe it will give me my enthusiasm back.

 

Nevertheless!!! I have not been sitting around doing nothing! I took some leftover cotton yarn, dug into my box of beads and voilà! My first ever I-cord!!!

 

 

Paljajalu sandaalid / Barefoot sandals tutorial

Here is my first ever official tutorial. Hope you enjoy it :)


Minu esimene avaldatud õpetus. Kuna googli vahendusel sain ainult kaks eestikeelset tulemust nn paljajalu sandaalidele, panin oma väga kandilise jutu kirja ingliskeelsena. Kui kellelgi peaks huvi olema, ei ole probleemi see ka eestikeelsena üles sirgeldada.

 Chain 4. Slip stich to first chain to form a ring. Then chain 25 and slip stich into the first smaller ring. This will be the loop that goes around the toe.

Row 1:  Chain 4(counts as first TrC now and throughout) TrC five times into ring. (6 TrC's)  This forms the base of the triangle.


Row 2:  Chain 3 and turn, yo 2 times around hook, insert hook into next stich and draw through 1 loop, yo draw through, yo and draw through 2. Yo twice again, insert into the next st and draw through 1 loop. Yo and draw through 2 loops, yo and draw through 2 loops, you should have 3 loops on your hook. Yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook (counts as Tr3tog now and throughout), chain 5, Tr3tog, chain 5, Tr3tog.

Row 3: Chain 1 and turn (counts as first SC), SC 5 times into the loop and SC 6 into the next loop

 

 

Row 4: Chain 3 and turn, Tr3tog, *chain 5, Tr3tog*, rep twice

Row 5: Chain 1 and turn, SC 5 into the loop, * SC 6 into the next loop*, rep once

Row 6: Chain 3 and turn, Tr3tog, *chain 5, Tr3tog*, rep four times




Row 7: Chain 5 and turn, *SC 1 in the center of the loop, chain 5* rep 3 times, chain 3, DC into the last stich of the row

Row 8: Turn, *chain 5, SC in the senter of the loop* rep 3 times, chain 3 and slip stich to third chain from the start of row 7

Row 9: Chain 5, turn, *SC 1 in the center of the loop, chain 5* rep 3 times, chain 3, DC into the last stich of the row

Row 10: Chain 1 and turn, SC 2 into the loop, * SC 6 into the next loop*, rep 3 times, SC 3 into the last (half)loop. Cut yarn and weave in ends. 

Strings: Make a chain based on your desired length , I did 2 of 70 chains and attach on the first stich of both ends, cut yarn and weave in ends

PS! I used cotton yarn (black) Kotiväki by Novita and hook 1,5mm (recommended 2,5-3) and blue yarn was Schachenmayers Catania, also used hook 1,5 (recommended 2,5-3). You should take that into consideration, if you like to crochet more loosely.

Väikesed aarded / Little treasures

Viimastel päevadel valdab mind sõnulseletamatu rahulolu. Kes oleks küll osanud arvata, et üks pisikene inimene olemise nõnda kergeks teeb :) 

Naudin kevadet ja nokitsen pisitasa pisikesi aardeid. Kuduvabrikust on asjad siiski suhteliselt kaugel, kuna oma pitsilõnga hunnikuid tõstan lihtsalt ühest toanurgast teise, kahandades hetkel hoopis puuvillase varu. Heegeldamine on uus kudumine! Seda vähemalt antud hetkel ja minu majapidamises :)

 

In the last few days I have been overcome by inexpressible complacency (I hope, this is the correct word). Who could have imagined, that one tiny person, makes it so easy to just be :)

So here we are, enjoying the springtime and creating oure tiny treasures. However, I am far from knitting, just moving my laceyarn from one end of the room to another and decreasing my cotton stash instead. Crocheting is the new knitting! At least in my household at this point! :)

Millegipärast on aastaid olnud roosa riidekapis minu suurimaks hirmuks. No lihtsalt...kes kardab ämblikuid, kes haikalu....mina olen alati kartnud roosat värvi riideesemeid. Kogu minu teadliku täiskasvanuks olemise jooksul ilmus mingil põhjusel salaja minu sokisahtlisse paar roosasid lillelisi sokke (ei saa ometi olla, et need teadlikult ostsin) aga sellega ka asi piirdus. Näib et olukord hakkab muutuma. Lahenduseks on kas sellega leppida või kiiremas korras pliksile oma riidekapp muretseda. Ma olen enam kui kindel, et tema roosad riideesemed on mingil määral hakkanud minu hilpe nakatama. Arvan, et tegu on suuremat sorti vandenõuga :D

 

 

Somehow has pink in my wardrobe been my biggest fear. Simply.....some people are afraid of spiders, some fear sharks....i have always feared pink garments. In all my conscious grown-up life, found only one pair of pink socks, somehow it`s way to my dresser drawer (it can not be, that I baught them on purpose), and that was it. But at this point it seems, things are about to change. The solution is to accept it or to get a wardrobe for my baby girl ASAP. I am more then certain, that her pink garments are infecting my wardrobe. I think this is śome sort of bigger conspiracy :D
